Nahid highlighted Sylhet’s ongoing marginalization in resource allocation and political representation, urging support for expatriates’ voting rights and their inclusion in national policy-making.

Calling on everyone to gather at the Central Shaheed Minar on August 3 for justice, reform, and the creation of a new Bangladesh, Nahid Islam, convener of the National Citizens Party (NCP), said that the July Charter and July Declaration will be confirmed from there.
