To combat drug abuse among youth, the Ministry of Youth and Sports will build a mini stadium in Haimchar, Chandpur. Secretary Md. Mahbub Ul Alam announced this initiative at a sports equipment distribution event, highlighting sports as essential for both physical and mental development. He emphasized proper use of existing stadiums across Bangladesh, noting that 175 mini stadiums have been completed so far. The event also saw sports gear distributed to 30 local schools, with officials and students in attendance.
