The number of settlements has risen to 178, alongside an increasing rate of Palestinian home demolitions. Fourteen ministers have also signed a letter urging Netanyahu to legalize the occupation. Channel 12 reports that over 41,000 settlement units have been approved this year alone—surpassing records from the past six years. Experts warn that this strategy undermines prospects for a two-state solution.
