Government is preparing a comprehensive master plan to protect the Haor: Environment Advisor

Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Advisor to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, said that the government is formulating a comprehensive master plan to protect the Haor areas. Initially, four major initiatives have been undertaken, including constructing embankments in five Haors, tree plantation, tourism protection, and policy formulation.
