Foreign Adviser: Relations with India will not be damaged even if Sheikh Hasina is not returned

Foreign Adviser Touhid Hossain assured that Bangladesh’s bilateral relations with India will remain unaffected even if former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who fled, is not returned. He stated that efforts to bring Sheikh Hasina back and the ongoing mutually beneficial relationship with India will proceed together without causing any issues. Hossain made these comments while addressing journalists at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday (January 1).
