amaat-e-Islami North Dhaka Secretary Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim has reiterated the party’s demand for the national elections to be held by the end of this year. He also noted the party’s previous call for local elections, having already announced mayor and councilor candidates. He highlighted the need for a national government to pass laws but emphasized that local governments remain essential for serving the people. Karim also called for justice for those involved in violent acts, insisting that no one should be above the law.
জামায়াতে ইসলামীর ঢাকা মহানগরী উত্তরের সেক্রেটারি ড. মুহাম্মদ রেজাউল করিম বলেছেন, জামায়াতে ইসলামীর দাবি হচ্ছে অনতিবিলম্বে জাতীয় নির্বাচন। সেটির জন্য এ বছরের শেষে বলা আছে। আমরা এর আগেই দাবি করি স্থানীয় নির্বাচন হওয়া দরকার। এ জন্য আমরা মেয়রসহ কাউন্সিলর প্রার্থী দিয়ে দিয়েছি।
