Bangladesh Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus will visit Malaysia from August 11–13 at the invitation of Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. The trip will feature a bilateral meeting in Putrajaya, a business conference, and the signing of up to five MoUs on areas including defense, energy, trade, and education. Migration and investment will be key topics, with discussions aimed at boosting Bangladeshi manpower exports. Dr. Yunus will also receive an honorary degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia during the visit.

Chief Adviser to Visit Malaysia; Migration and Investment to Take Center Stage

At the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus will leave for a three-day visit to Malaysia on Monday (August 11). According to the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, around five memorandums of understanding (MoUs) may be signed during the trip, with migration and investment set to be the main focus.
