Farmer Leader Critically Injured in Shoe Dispute Attack in Mohammadpur

Nur Alam Bhason, a local Krishak Dal leader, was critically injured after being attacked by a cobbler during a dispute over a delayed shoe order in Mohammadpur, Magura. The incident occurred Sunday night when Bhason went to collect shoes he had ordered 15 days earlier. An argument with cobbler Bidyut Das escalated into violence, resulting in a severe injury. Bhason was transferred from local health facilities to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where doctors reported kidney damage. Das has been arrested and sent to court.

A leader of the BNP-affiliated Farmers’ Wing (Krishak Dal) was seriously injured in Mohammadpur, Magura, after being attacked with a sharp cobbler’s tool during a dispute over shoe repairs. The victim, 25-year-old Nur Alam Bhason, is the son of Mohon Sheikh from Jangalia village in the upazila and serves as the joint convener of the Sadar Union unit of the Krishak Dal.
