Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has postponed the exhumation of unidentified bodies buried in Rayerbazar Cemetery between July and August. The operation, scheduled for Monday at 3 PM, aimed to identify the deceased and determine the cause of death through DNA profiling. ADC Md. Jewel Rana cited "unavoidable reasons" for the delay, saying, “We will inform the public once a new date is confirmed.” Police earlier stated that the bodies, buried with court approval, would be exhumed for further investigation.
