BNP leader Ruhul Kabir Rizvi accused the interim government of following in Sheikh Hasina’s footsteps by crafting political narratives. “Law enforcement is raiding the home of Suman, who disappeared 15 years ago, while a murder-accused former president escapes through the airport unnoticed,” he said. Rizvi questioned whether the current regime is covertly rehabilitating fascist elements. He added, “When elected governments exist, they are answerable to the people—Sheikh Hasina never was. Now the same tactics are repeating themselves.” He also highlighted ongoing power outages in Adabor, asking, “Whom do we hold accountable without an elected authority?”
