Zainul Islam, the candidate representing the 'Dharipalla' symbol, has won the Dhaka-4 parliamentary seat by a margin of nearly three thousand votes. According to the final results announced at 4:30 a.m. by Dhaka Divisional Commissioner and Returning Officer Sharaf Uddin Ahmad Chowdhury, Zainul Islam secured 77,367 votes, while his closest rival, Tanvir Ahmed of the 'Dhaner Shish' symbol, received 74,447 votes.

The announcement marks the conclusion of the vote count for Dhaka-4, confirming Zainul Islam’s victory in a closely contested race. The results were officially declared by the election authorities following the completion of counting procedures.
