A supervisor named Alamgir Hossain, aged 48, was killed early Friday when a Shyamoli N.R. Travels passenger bus collided with a Souhardya Paribahan bus on the Dhaka–Chattogram Highway at Harisardar area in Chauddagram, Cumilla. The incident was confirmed by Md. According to police, the Souhardya bus, traveling from Chattogram to Dhaka, attempted to stop on the left side of the highway without using any signal.
