Md. Moazzem Hossain, former Assistant Private Secretary to Adviser Asif Mahmud, has dismissed the corruption allegations against him as baseless and politically motivated. Speaking to the media after being summoned by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), he claimed a faction is spreading misinformation targeting student leaders. "For instance, my resignation has been falsely portrayed in the media as a dismissal. I had to prepare for my BCS viva exam, which is why I resigned voluntarily. My release was granted upon request, although the official notice from the Ministry of Public Administration was published incorrectly. The corruption allegations surfaced only afterward," he clarified.
