Bangladeshi actress Jaya Ahsan shared an Eid-e-Miladunnabi greeting on social media as the occasion was observed across the country with religious solemnity. In a post published in the afternoon, the actress described Eid-e-Miladunnabi as a sacred reminder to return to the path of love, peace and humanity. The day commemorates the life, teachings and ideals of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), with Muslim communities observing it worldwide.

Through her brief message, Ahsan called for upholding human values and moving toward peace by following the Prophet’s ideals. The source described her as a popular actress in both Bengal regions and said her post focused on equality, peace and humanity.

Religious and social programmes were organised around Bangladesh to mark the occasion. A large Jashne Julus was held in Chattogram with participation from lakhs of people. A major procession also began from the Shah Ali Mazar area in Mirpur, while a special gathering at Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka drew thousands of devotees from different parts of the country.
