The government has officially repealed the Cyber Security Act 2023, issuing an ordinance to that effect. However, several key sections—17, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 30, 32, and 35—will remain active. The ordinance aims to ensure cyber protection, prevent and prosecute cybercrimes, and manage related legal proceedings. It was ratified by the President and made public on May 21, 2025.
