BNP candidate Md. Asaduzzaman has been declared the unofficial winner in the Jhenaidah-1 constituency following the completion of vote counting on Thursday, February 12, 2026. According to the results, all 117 polling centers in the constituency have been counted, confirming his lead.

As per the obtained results, former Attorney General Asaduzzaman secured 171,598 votes, while his nearest rival, Abu Saleh Md. Matiur Rahman, who contested with the 'scales' symbol, received 55,577 votes. The report indicates that the counting process was completed across all centers before the announcement of the unofficial result.

The election featured a total of 127,711,895 registered voters nationwide, including 64,825,151 male voters, 62,885,524 female voters, and 1,120 third-gender voters, according to the published data.
