Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) A.M.M. Nasir Uddin has vowed to ensure a free, fair, and acceptable national election. Speaking at a mosque in Jessore before Jummah prayers, he said he wants to contribute something meaningful to the country in the final chapter of his life, not personal gain. He sought the nation’s prayers and cooperation in this effort. The CEC also participated in a memorial prayer for the victims of the recent Uttara plane crash and the Milestone School tragedy.
