Chief Prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal, Tajul Islam, has confirmed that investigation reports have been received in several high-profile cases, including the Sheikh Hasina genocide case, the Ashulia body-burning case, and the Chankharpul massacre. “After review and verification, we hope to formally submit charges in at least two of these cases within this month,” he said. Tajul Islam also claimed that attempts are being made to obstruct the tribunal’s proceedings through conspiracies and disinformation. “No conspiracy or smear campaign can halt the trial process. No one can prove corruption in the prosecution or investigation teams of the tribunal,” he asserted.
