Seasonal traders like Mohammad Sabur, who brought Tk 2.5 lakh worth of Qurbani hides from Rangunia, were offered only Tk 20,000. In frustration, he dumped the hides on the street.
Many traders, reduced to tears, blame government mismanagement for the disastrous price drop and unsold inventory.
