US Central Command said Thursday that it carried out simultaneous “devastating strikes” inside Iran in response to an attempted Iranian missile attack on US military forces. The statement, reported on July 30, 2026, said more than 12 important targets of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, or IRGC, were successfully damaged.

According to CENTCOM, the affected sites included IRGC military command centers, missile and drone manufacturing factories, coastal surveillance and defense systems, and facilities linked to maritime military capabilities.
