Gono Odhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Nur has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden death of Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha and independent candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency. Hadi passed away on Thursday night at around 9:30 p.m. while undergoing treatment at Singapore General Hospital.

In a condolence message, Nur described Hadi as a dedicated and courageous young voice in Bangladesh’s political landscape, noting that his patriotism and bravery would remain unforgettable. He said the entire Gono Odhikar Parishad family was deeply saddened by the loss of their comrade.

Nur prayed for the eternal peace of Hadi’s soul and extended heartfelt sympathy to his bereaved family, relatives, and colleagues. Hadi’s body is expected to arrive in Bangladesh this evening, and political activists have announced plans for a gathering in his memory.
