US Vice President JD Vance also arrived in Switzerland earlier, with his spokesperson confirming the visit to Reuters.

Vance told reporters that he hopes for progress on nuclear issues and a ceasefire in Lebanon, noting signs of reduced tension in the region. He emphasized the need for continued monitoring to ensure stability and security for both Israel and Lebanon.
