Unofficial final results for the Dinajpur-6 constituency, covering Nawabganj, Birampur, Ghoraghat, and Hakimpur, were announced on Thursday, February 12, 2026. According to the results, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) alliance candidate and party standing committee member Dr. A.Z.M. Zahid Hossain secured victory. He received 203,233 votes under the paddy sheaf symbol, while his nearest rival, Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Anwarul Islam, obtained 188,719 votes under the balance scale symbol.

The results show that Dr. Zahid Hossain won by a significant margin, prompting celebrations among his supporters following the announcement. The results were compiled from all 199 polling centers in the constituency.

Election officials stated that these results are unofficial and will become final only after formal confirmation by the Election Commission.
