The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has initiated a probe into the alleged accumulation of illegal wealth by Sheikh Hasina. A special investigation team, led by ACC Deputy Director Masudur Rahman, has been tasked with verifying her asset declarations and scrutinizing her income tax records to uncover any discrepancies.

This is part of a broader crackdown by the ACC, which is currently investigating cases involving plot forgery, money laundering abroad, and embezzlement of project funds. Arrest warrants have already been issued based on preliminary findings in several of these cases.
