The funeral prayer for Pilot Tawkir Islam, who lost his life in the Uttara plane crash, was held on Tuesday at Dhaka's Kurmitola.

The event was attended by key military figures including the Army Chief, Navy Chief, and Air Force Chief, along with Home Affairs Adviser Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury and members of the pilot’s family. A formal military funeral parade was held prior to the janaza.
