BNP activists have been accused of vandalizing a Jamaat-e-Islami office in Hemayetpur, Pabna. The attackers also reportedly set fire to several local houses and looted property. According to the case statement, BNP leaders at the union and upazila levels orchestrated the attack on Saturday night, with former BNP leader Yakub Ali leading the charge. Several BNP leaders, including a district Chhatra Dal official, have been named in the case.
