Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi has criticized the U.S. for not clearly stating its position on halting attacks while pushing for renewed diplomatic talks through mediators. He reaffirmed Iran’s right to enrich uranium for peaceful research and rejected allegations of secret weapons development. Ravanchi described U.S. and Israeli actions as “law of the jungle” and said Iran would not proceed with talks unless it received clarity on whether attacks would continue during negotiations. He added that critics of Iran’s nuclear program should instead hold the U.S. and Israel accountable.
