President Md. Sahabuddin has expressed his profound sorrow and condolences over the fatal crash of an Air Force training plane on the Milestone School and College campus in Uttara. In a statement, he prayed for the departed souls and extended heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved families. The President also wished a speedy recovery for those injured.

The disaster has so far resulted in 19 deaths and over 150 injuries, including more than 50 severely burned students admitted to multiple hospitals.
