The announcement follows a 90-minute phone call between Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, which Trump described as productive. The US delegation will include Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, and Trade Representative Jamison Greer. A previous trade understanding in May collapsed after both sides accused each other of violating its terms.
