The Judicial Employees Association has announced a two-day, half-day work stoppage on June 22 and 23 across all subordinate courts and tribunals in the country. The move comes in protest of the government's inaction on their key demands.

Spokesperson Rezwan Khondokar stated that auxiliary court staff observed a symbolic two-hour strike on May 5 as part of an ongoing series of demonstrations. However, the government has yet to take any visible steps toward meeting their demands.

The association is calling for two primary changes: the implementation of a separate judicial service pay scale for court employees, and the abolition of the "block post" system to establish a distinct recruitment policy. With no resolution in sight, the union is pressing forward with broader, more disruptive action.
