The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed a case against former minister Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, accusing him of amassing illegal wealth worth over Tk 35 crore and conducting suspicious transactions exceeding Tk 100 crore. ACC Director General Akhter Hossain confirmed the development. Reports suggest that Hossain currently resides in Switzerland. His son, Khandaker Mashroor Hossain Mitu, is the former husband of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s daughter, Saima Wazed Putul. Mosharraf Hossain was elected MP three times under the Awami League banner.
