A young man died after falling from a train in the Magurchhara area of Kamalganj upazila, Moulvibazar, on Wednesday morning, March 25, 2026. His body was recovered near bridge number 168 adjacent to Bhanugach Railway Station. Locals discovered the body under a railway bridge along the Srimangal–Bhanugach route and informed Kamalganj police, who then notified the Srimangal Railway Police.

Kamalganj Police Officer-in-Charge Abdul Awal said he visited the scene and handed the case over to the railway police. Officers recovered a shoe and some loose money from the site. The deceased, identified as Jubayer Ahmed, 20, of Saroibari village in Kamalganj Sadar Union, had a severe injury on the right side of his face. Preliminary findings suggest he fell from a moving train.

The exact cause of the incident remains unknown, and law enforcement authorities have launched an investigation to determine how the accident occurred.
