Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan reaffirmed that the Daksu and hall union elections will be held despite legal and political obstacles.
He said, “We anticipated such challenges. Immediately after the court ruling to suspend the polls, we appealed, and the suspension order was stayed.”
The VC urged students to remain united, saying, “No obstacle can succeed if the students stand together. I call on everyone to avoid unnecessary controversies.”
