Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar has welcomed the recent meeting between Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus and BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman in London. He described the meeting as consistent with the aspirations of the country’s pro-democracy citizens and a positive step forward. “Dialogue and discussions between political parties and state leaders foster mutual understanding and empathy — that’s the beauty of democracy,” Parwar added.
