The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced on Tuesday that, under the directive of the Chief Adviser, Bangladesh has dispatched a second round of emergency aid to earthquake-ravaged Myanmar. The first phase had already sent relief supplies, along with rescue and medical assistance teams. In the second phase, a Bangladesh Army transport aircraft and two Air Force cargo planes departed for Naypyidaw on Tuesday morning, carrying additional rescue equipment, an emergency medical team with critical medicines, and 15 tons of relief supplies. A 55-member Bangladeshi rescue team, led by Colonel Md. Shamim Iftekhar, will conduct search-and-rescue operations and provide emergency medical care in the affected areas. Additionally, a 21-member medical team has also been deployed to provide further assistance.
