AB Party Chairman Mojibur Rahman Manju, speaking in Chattogram during a discussion on the July uprising, said, "Martyr Abu Sayeed was greater than any political party. Sheikh Mujib paid with his life for betraying the Liberation War’s ideals, but his daughter failed to learn from that lesson."

He emphasized that the July uprising was a manifestation of the people’s will, not the effort of a single leader or party. Manju warned that forgetting July's commitments could lead any political party to the same fate as the Awami League.
