Although BNP's divisional youth rally in front of its central office in Naya Paltan was scheduled to start at 2 PM, thousands of leaders and activists had already gathered much earlier. Participants from Dhaka, Sylhet, Mymensingh, and Faridpur arrived in processions. Chhatra Dal Senior Vice President Abu Afsan Mohammad Yahia said, “Youth are being deprived of political rights. They can’t vote or express opinions. Today’s rally is a reflection of our pain and protest.”
