All 142 polling centers of Kishoreganj-6 (Bhairab-Kuliarchar) constituency have declared their results. According to the complete unofficial count released on Thursday, January 12, BNP-nominated candidate Md. Shariful Alam, contesting with the paddy sheaf symbol, secured a sweeping victory.
The announced results show that Shariful Alam received 185,813 votes, while his nearest rival, Maulana Ataullah Amin of the 11-party alliance running with the rickshaw symbol, obtained 42,555 votes. This gives Shariful Alam a winning margin of 143,258 votes. From the early stages of counting, he maintained a lead across multiple centers and ultimately confirmed a decisive victory after all results were tallied.
The report highlights that the results are unofficial and based on the full count from all polling centers in the constituency.
