Preparations have begun for the burial of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia following her death. According to BNP sources, her funeral prayer will be held on Wednesday, December 31, at Manik Mia Avenue. After the prayer, she will be buried with state honors beside the grave of martyred President Ziaur Rahman. Khaleda Zia passed away at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, while undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka. She was 80 years old at the time of her death. The arrangements for her funeral and burial are being coordinated by BNP officials and relevant authorities. The report also mentions that more than 10,000 law enforcement personnel will be deployed for security during the funeral, and foreign ministers from Pakistan and India are expected to attend the ceremony.
