Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leader Nasir Uddin Nasir expressed gratitude to student organizations and independent students for protesting the killing of Samya, regardless of political affiliation. He condemned a particular student group for spreading false propaganda and victim-blaming. Nasir highlighted Samya’s active role in the July-August uprising and denounced misleading attempts to associate a Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal leader with the accused. He also blamed university authorities for the deteriorating campus safety due to administrative failures.
