Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held urgent calls with the ambassadors of Saudi Arabia and Qatar to discuss de-escalation strategies amid rising Middle East tensions.
During a conversation with Qatari envoy Ali Mubarak Ali Essa, Sharif expressed deep concern over Iran’s recent strike on a U.S. base in Qatar and stressed the importance of peace and cooperation.
In a separate call with Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Maliki, Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to diplomatic solutions and proposed a trilateral cooperation framework involving Pakistan, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
