A fire broke out at the private Bliss Hospital in Satkhira city on Tuesday afternoon, August 4. The Fire Service brought the blaze under control, while patients staying on different floors were moved to safety. Everyone trapped inside the building was also rescued, according to the report.

Fire Service personnel and Border Guard Bangladesh members quickly reached the scene after receiving the information and began firefighting and rescue work. Lieutenant Colonel Kazi Ashikur Rahman, commander of Satkhira Battalion (33 BGB), said members arrived with necessary firefighting and rescue equipment, joined the operation and provided full assistance to control the fire.

The BGB also took necessary measures to ensure security at the hospital and surrounding area. The Fire Service said the blaze was controlled through a joint effort. All patients present at the hospital were transferred to safe locations with help from BGB and Fire Service members. No casualties had been reported so far.
