Attorney General Asaduzzaman has vowed that elections in Bangladesh will no longer be marred by irregularities like overnight ballot stuffing. “Never again will votes be cast at night. We have taken responsibility to ensure that you reach the secret booth safely, where you can cast your vote for whoever you wish,” he said.

Asaduzzaman also emphasized ongoing efforts to combat drugs and corruption. “We are gradually succeeding in this fight. I call on everyone to provide us with information about drugs and corruption so we can work together,” he said. “We will make Shailkupa drug-free and set an example for the rest of the country.”
