Wang stated that the Middle East is at a “decisive turning point” and emphasized that a comprehensive ceasefire is “essential” for regional stability. He reaffirmed China’s commitment to easing tensions and urged direct dialogue between the parties involved.

During the meeting, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi praised China’s “firm stance,” particularly its condemnation of the US-Israel attacks. He said that cooperation between Tehran and Beijing would strengthen further in the future.
