Bangladesh reported one new death from dengue in the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll this year to 30. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) also confirmed that 249 new dengue patients were admitted to hospitals during the same period, pushing the total number of infections this year to 5,988.
Barisal Division saw the highest number of new hospital admissions with 134 cases. In Dhaka, 43 patients were hospitalized within the two city corporations, followed by 9 in the rest of Dhaka Division, 39 in Chattogram, 7 in Mymensingh, 8 in Khulna, 5 in Rajshahi, 3 in Rangpur, and 1 in Sylhet.
