Israel has claimed responsibility for killing Asghar Bekeri, the head of a secret unit within Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force, according to a report by Al Jazeera. Israeli military spokesperson Nadav Shoshani confirmed the operation, stating that Bekeri was killed during the mission. Iran has not yet issued any official comment on the incident.

The Quds Force is a special branch of the IRGC known for conducting covert operations and military activities beyond Iran’s borders. The report noted that since the beginning of recent conflicts, the United States and Israel have been targeting senior Iranian leaders in their attacks.
