A small trader named Kamrul Hasan, aged 48, was killed after being hit by a pickup van in Tanore upazila of Rajshahi on Sunday morning. According to the police report, the accident occurred around 6:25 a.m. in the Chinasho area of Tanore municipality while Kamrul was cycling toward Mundumala market to sell goods. Locals and fire service personnel rescued him and took him to the upazila health complex, where doctors declared him dead.

Kamrul Hasan was a resident of Yogisho village under Panchandar Union and used to sell various items from village to village. He was also known as a local BNP activist. Following the incident, his younger brother, Md. Jamal Uddin, filed a case with Tanore Police Station. Officer-in-Charge S.M. Masud Parvez stated that the complaint is under investigation and necessary legal steps will be taken.

The police investigation aims to determine the circumstances of the collision and identify those responsible for the fatal accident.
