Chief Election Commissioner A.M.M. Nasir Uddin said that foreign observers who endorsed the legitimacy of the last three national elections will not be invited for the upcoming polls. After a meeting with the Canadian ambassador in Agargaon, he stated that while many countries, including those in the EU, are interested in sending observers, those with a history of approving disputed elections will be excluded. He also confirmed discussions with the ambassador focused on election preparations, voter awareness, and the use of AI.
