Khelafat Majlis leaders have expressed deep sorrow at the death of Barrister Jamir Uddin Sarkar, former Speaker of the National Parliament and former Acting President of Bangladesh. The condolence message was issued on Sunday by party Amir Maulana Abdul Basit Azad and Secretary General Dr. Ahmad Abdul Kader.

In their statement sent to the media, the leaders prayed to Almighty Allah for the forgiveness of the deceased and for granting him a place in Jannatul Ferdous. They also conveyed heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family members.
