Malaysian authorities have deported 198 individuals, including 123 Bangladeshis, from Kuala Lumpur International Airport for failing to meet entry requirements. The Border Control and Protection Agency stated that the passengers were returned under the ‘Not to Land’ policy and must be repatriated by the respective airlines. Other deportees include nationals from Pakistan, Indonesia, India, Syria, and Vietnam. Malaysia has reiterated that it will not allow its airports to become transit hubs for illegal migration. On July 11, another 96 Bangladeshis were similarly deported.
